Prince’s Grant Announces Appointment of New Golf Director
The Lodge at Prince’s Grant is excited to introduce Dane Vosloo, the new Golf Operations Manager, to the Prince’s Grant team.
Dane has played golf from a young age and has worked in numerous aspects of the golfing profession, from sales to management and he believes his all-round knowledge will bring a huge advantage to Prince’s Grant. “I believe I will be able to bring something to every golfing aspect at Princes Grant and be able to share my knowledge of the game and what I have learnt over the years of being in the industry,” says Dane.
Dane has some exciting plans for future golfers at Prince’s Grant. As a strong player himself, he understands what golfers, both professional and amateur, want from the experience. Working as a team is important to him and he looks forward to building a good relationship between staff as well as members of the club. Dane says, “I hope to create some exciting activations to help build the brand of Prince’s Grant and create a family environment where members feel they are getting the 5-star service that they deserve.”
Dane’s list of golfing achievements is quite impressive. In 2009 he represented Natal Country Districts at S.A. Country Districts where he earned a gold medal. He represented Natal U23 at S.A. Inter-provincials in 2010 where he received a silver medal. In 2014, Dane came second at the PGA Order of Merit in KwaZulu Natal and went on to win the PGA Order of Merit the next two years in a row. In 2013 he was crowned the KZN Regional PGA Champion right here at Prince’s Grant and in 2015 he won the Crawford Dougall Cotswold Downs Pro Am Series. Quite an impressive résumé for someone who is only twenty-eight!
Dane’s goal as Golf Operations Manager at Prince’s Grant is to make customer service and satisfaction the main priority. He looks forward to building relationships with the members of the club and doing what he can to give each player a better experience each time they visit Prince’s Grant. “It is a goal to be accepted into the club and build the trust in the members; so that they can come to me with any problems or any of their golfing needs,” says Dane. “We will strive to go beyond the 5-star service that Prince’s Grant is known for worldwide.”
